Journalist killed for the right of voice

The story of five Vietnamese journalists being killed for their work of what their view points of what they supported and knew to be right and wrong. These five journalists were killed for having a voice because an unknown killer did not approve of what was being said. The victims' killers were never arrested or put to justice because the case was never finished. The case was ignored for many years. The reason why the case was ignored was because it was unsolved. I believe if you are a journalist, it is your job to get your opinion on the facts that most of the people don't want to hear. The people especially don't want to hear the journalist's opinion when it gets to the controversial point and that's not the freedom of voice or press.

The killing was because of hardcore political controversial facts and corruption. one of the journalist was a target investigator and was killed on his front lawn.

Not only does the CPJ show statistics of journalist being killed but they are a committee protecting journalist who need help being heard instead of being silenced.

This blog made me want to read more about this topic from reading the timeline it gave me. It also interested me because of how many people that were killed from just doing there jobs.
